Community Crime Profiles
Information about the local community and local crime statistics are essential to develop strategies to tackle crime and improve safety in our communities. Community Crime Profiles help local communities to:
- identify and prioritise crime issues in the local area, and
- assess crime rates and demographic information in the context of their region and the state
Crime Profiles are just one of a range of tools that can be used for planning purposes.
Current profiles are only available to those local governments who have signed a Partnership Agreement with the Office of Crime Prevention to establish a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.
Note: All profiles are provided in PDF format and average 700KB in size. Local government website addresses have been provided for convenience.
Community Crime Profile Supplement
This document contains important contextual information and advice about interpreting the statistics. The supplement should be read in conjunction with the Community Crime Profiles.
