Funding Stages
The Local Government Partnership Fund consists of the following funding stages:

Stage 1 – Planning Grant ($10,000 or $5,000)
Available once a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Partnership Agreement is signed, between a Local Government Authority and the Office of Crime Prevention, for the preparation of a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.

An additional $1,200 per year is available for the life of the Plan (currently three years) to cover administrative costs. The development of an approved plan provides access to an incentive grant.

Stage 2 – Incentive Grant ($20,000)
A one-off incentive grant payment on the endorsement of a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan, by the Office of Crime Prevention, to assist local governments in addressing a priority issue(s) identified in their Plan.

Office of Crime Prevention Grants
Following the issue of an incentive grant, local governments are still entitled to apply for any other funding offered by the Office of Crime Prevention, subject to individual grant policy guidelines.
