Scam Alert
People in the mid west have been targeted by a phone scam. An individual is representing themselves as being from the Office of Crime Prevention and is asking for donations to fund a school education kit. This is a false claim. The Office of Crime Prevention will never request donations of this sort and we would like to warn you all of this scam. If you are contacted by someone requesting money and representing themselves as being from the Office of Crime Prevention, please be cautious and contact your local Police or the Office of Crime Prevention.
